Orange Wine from California
We picked Gewürztraminer farmed with organic practices in Monterey.
The whole berries were gently added to tank for a semi-carbonic fermentation for 9 days before being pressed. Fermentation was native with an experimental 8.2% Zinfandel field-blend coferment.
The skin-contact orange wine was aged sur lie before being racked off the thick lees to tank during a new moon's week.
Unfined, Unfiltered, Native Fermentation and Semi-carbonic. 17 ppm total sulfur, 13 ppm free. '24 Monje produced in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California.
